Project Scope & Works Executed

  • Design and installation of 3.15 MVA & 4 MVA Substation Systems
  • Supply and installation of Dry Type Power Transformers for indoor commercial application
  • Installation of 33 kV HT Switchgear with VCB – 630A
  • Supply and installation of LT Switchgear Panels: LT-01 – 6300A, LT-02 – 5000A, LT-03 – 800A
  • Installation of Bus Coupler – 5000A for load sharing and redundancy
  • Installation of Automatic PFI Plants – 2400 kVAR & 1890 kVAR for power factor correction
  • Supply and installation of 33 kV CT & PT for accurate metering and protection
  • Installation of 33 kV ABS (Air Break Switch)
  • Installation of 33 kV ACR (Auto Circuit Recloser) for enhanced grid protection
  • Installation of ELB (Earth Leakage Breaker) for personnel and equipment safety
  • Complete installation, testing, commissioning, and system synchronization

Project Summary

POWERtrac successfully executed a large-scale commercial power infrastructure project for Bashundhara Bazar Protidin, delivering dual 3.15 MVA and 4 MVA substation systems designed to support high electrical demand in a modern retail complex. The project integrated dry type transformers, advanced 33 kV protection and control systems, multi-section high-capacity LT switchgear, and dual automatic PFI plants to ensure reliable power distribution, improved power quality, and operational continuity. With redundancy through bus couplers, accurate metering via CT-PT systems, and enhanced safety using ACR, ABS, and ELB, the installation provides a stable, efficient, and future-ready electrical solution tailored for large commercial operations.
