Polypack Woven Industries — 5MVA, 33kV Industrial Substation Successfully Commissioned by POWERtrac

POWERtrac Group is pleased to announce the successful design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a 5MVA, 33kV Substation for Polypack Woven Industries, delivering a comprehensive and high‑capacity power distribution solution tailored to the client’s industrial energy needs.

As part of the turnkey project execution, POWERtrac Group supplied and commissioned the following key substation equipment and electrical systems:

33kV Metering Equipment: ACR, ABS, and 33kV Dry Type CT & PT

33/11kV Substation Equipment: 33kV Gang Isolator with earth switch, outdoor PT & CT, 33kV VCB (outdoor type), 5MVA (33/11kV) transformer with OLTC & RTCC panel, indoor control panel for 33kV VCB, and LV AC/DC panel

11/.415kV Substation Equipment: 11kV 1250A HT switchgear (VCB), 2500kVA oil‑type distribution transformer, 4000A LT switchgear panel, and 1500KVAR auto/manual PFI plant

Main & Sub Distribution Boards: 2500A MDB, 1000A MDB, and multiple SDB panels including 200A & 160A loom SDBs, 250A, 500A, 125A, 400A SDBs, and a 630A SDB for UPS outgoing

Substation Earthing and All Accessories

The project was executed with full installation, comprehensive testing, and final commissioning to ensure performance reliability, operational safety, and uninterrupted power supply for Polypack Woven Industries’ production infrastructure.
